G P Birla Archaeological and Cultural Research Institute (GPBAASRI) has been instrumental in preserving the historical and cultural past of the country along with disseminating science unequivocally across the breadth of the nation.

Established in 1969, we have had endeavours in bringing several archaeological sites to light and have produced studies both historical and anthropological. The science division of GPBAASRI, the BM Birla Science Centre is a premier institution for science dissemination and research as a functional private enterprise. One of India’s flagship planetarium is housed by the centre and has a legacy of more than three functional decades.

In the GPBAASRI Hyderabad campus we interact with more than a hundred thousand people per year which amounts to an impact gradient higher than any other such institution in Asia.
