The B M Birla Planetarium projection system has now been upgraded from the GotoOpto-mechanical projector to a complete digital projection system of Evans & Sutherland, USA.
The digital system works on projection using high end projectors which project High definition images of the space and cosmos. The images from the high lumen projectors completely cover the planetarium dome leading to a full dome immersive effect.
